Citizen’s Police Academy

This is an interactive academy for Irondale citizens (18 and older) who want to learn more about law enforcement. Police officers will provide classroom instruction and hands-on demonstrations. The academy is typically offered twice per year. Please check back her for the next class dates.Class topics include:

  • Use of Force Simulation
  • Range Day

Unity in the Community

Unity in the Community is a series of events aimed at encouraging positive interactions between the police force and Irondale citizens. Events include Block Parties, Police vs. Pastors, Prayer Walk, etc. Please check back here periodically for upcoming event dates and times.

National Night Out

National Night Out is a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. This event is typically the 1st Tuesday in October of each year.

Youth Leadership Academy
