City of Irondale Public Works
We are now accepting applications for the position of full time laborer. Starting pay: $9.97 – $11.19 per hour. (Dependent on experience)
Hours are Mon. – Thurs. 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Must pass physical exam, background check and drug test
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have valid driver’s license
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
Job duties may include picking up litter, weed eating, cutting grass, working on a refuse truck route – picking up garbage, working on leaf and brush trucks, working with various hand tools on construction sites, and patching and repairing roadways.
