Thank You Irondale! Check out the website if you Missed the April 16th Kickoff Event for Irondale on the Move

Thanks to everyone who made it to the Open House last Thursday April 16th for the kickoff even for the City of Irondale Comprehensive Plan (branded as Irondale on the Move).  You have definitely confirmed to us that Irondale is “On the Move” and we at Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham are excited to hear  your comments and ideas. The turnout was great and we are enthusiastic to continue working in the community.

If you missed the Open House please check out the brief video on the home page at www.IrondaleOnTheMove.com. A voiceover of the presentation that was given is provided in the“Virtual Meeting” tab.  While you are exploring the website, don’t forget to take our Online Visioning Survey and check out  Community Remarks, where you can pin point on the map areas that need improvement, such as intersections that need transportation improvements.

While at the meeting we were asked how we can provide access to our Visioning Survey to Irondale residents who may not have regular internet access. In response to that we will be putting a number of our fact sheets as well as paper copies of our Visioning Survey at the Irondale Public Library. You can come by and grab a few copies to share with anyone in the community and then drop them off at the library by Monday May 11th.

Thanks again for your time and input!
