City of Irondale employees were recognized for the hard work and dedication at the inaugural Employee Appreciation Dinner, held at Pine Tree Country Club.  Employees and their spouses were treated to a delicious meal, dancing and plenty of fun. According to Mayor Tommy Joe Alexander, “Irondale has the best employees around and this is just a small way to say thanks for all you do.”

A special congratulations to Rosaland Hawkins on being named Employee of the Year by Mayor Alexander.

Each department head recognized outstanding contributions by an employee in their department. The Greater Irondale Chamber of Commerce and The Irondale Commercial Development Authority also honored an employee for going beyond the call of duty. Click here to view additional photos of the event.
