Irondale, AL – The Irondale Senior Activity Center is the “Happening Place” for senior citizens in Irondale and surrounding areas. The center offers a wide array of  programs and activities to help seniors remain vibrant, healthy and informed.  Under the direction of Center Director, Alisa Burleson, the staff publishes a world-class monthly newsletter and calendar of events.  Events and activities range from exercise classes, dance classes, arts and crafts, The Ms Senior Irondale Pageant, monthly birthday celebrations and computer classes.  The center sponsors several wonderful trips and one day excursions throughout the year.  Notable trips recently sponsored by the Irondale Senior Activity Center include:  Niagara Falls, NY/Canada, Callaway Gardens,GA, Philadelphia, MS and New Orleans, LA.
