Pugh Appointed to Irondale Commercial Development Authority

 Irondale, AL – The Irondale City Council has appointed David Pugh to the Irondale Commmercial Development Authority (CDA). With Pugh’s appointment, the Irondale CDA will operate with a full five member board for the first time in a number of years. His four year term starts effective, September 3, 2014.

David Pugh is a partner for the law firm Bradley, Arant, Boult and Cummings. He works in the firm’s Construction and Procurement Practice Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property Practice Groups.

David has an extensive background in engineering and construction. David studied civil engineering as an undergraduate at Vanderbilt University. During college, he worked for Chicago Bridge & Iron at its Memphis, Tennessee plant and for Georgia Power construction at Plant Vogtle near Augusta, Georgia. Upon graduation, David went to work for Harbert Construction as a project engineer. He then decided to return to law school to pursue a career in construction law.
