For the third year in a row, the City of Irondale and the Irondale Commercial Development Authority  is proud to partner with Team-Magic to bring Cyclocross racing to Irondale.

Cyclocross racing is one of the fastest growing cycling events in the world. Team Magic is a leading athletic event company which specialize in managing events throughout the southeast.

Team Magic is co-owned by long-time Irondale resident, Therese Bynum. Therese has raced for over 25 years very competitively and continues to top the master’s ranks when she finds time to race. Therese is also a member of the Irondale On The Move Advisory Committee and was recognized as a leader in the Greater Birmingham business community as a recipient of the B Metro Fusion Awards in 2014.

According to Irondale City Councilor, John London, ” We are excited to again host this event which bring hundreds of visitors to Irondale. Therese and her staff always put on a world class event which highlights the best our city has to offer. ”

This year’s Team Magic Cyclocross event will take place on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Irondale’s Ruffner Park.  The first race will start at 9AM with several races taking place throughout the day.
