Irondale Police Chief Jerry McIntosh is hanging up his badge, for the second time, and said this time it’s for real.

The city’s top cop for 11 years, the 67-year-old McIntosh will retire April 1 after nearly 40 years as a sworn police officer in addition to several years as a police dispatcher. “I think it’s time to go on home,” McIntosh said. His replacement has not yet been named.  Click here to view the full article.
