The Irondale Police Academy will hold the next Citizens Police Academy April 6 – May 18, 2017. The Citizens Police Academy is an interactive academy for Irondale citizens who want to learn more about law enforcement. Police officers will provide classroom instruction and hands-on demonstrations. There is a $50 registration fee for the academy.

- Range Day
- Active Shooter Training
- Tour Irondale Police Department and Dispatch
- Detective Investigations
- Tactical Demonstration
