The Irondale Public Library (IPL) provide the greater Irondale community with a vast array of activities, resources and events that make learning fun for all ages.
Here’s a few of the wonderful events that will take place at the IPL during February:
- Teen: Anti-Valentine’s Day Break-Out Challenge – Tuesday, February 14 4:30 pm
All teens and tweens are invited to come hang out at the library and NOT celebrate Valentine’s Day! Teams will have 30 minutes to solve the clues and get into the treasure box. - Load your own devices Program – Thursday, February 16 – 10am – 11:30am and 4pm – 6pm
Borrow digital books, audio-books, music and video with your active Jefferson County librarycard. Drop-in and we’ll show you how. Please register to let us know you’re coming: 951-1415 - President’s Day Fun – Monday, February 20 – 9:30 – 3pm
Wii and board games will be set up. 3 pm Movie: Trolls (PG) 2016. The movie will be over at 4:30 - Teens: Tech Take Apart – Tuesday, February 28 – 4:30 – 5:30pm
One of the best ways to learn how technology works is to take stuff apart. Teens (12 and up) are invited to come take apart a selection of electronic equipment. Tools will be provided
