The city of Irondale is privileged to play host to the Whistle Stop Half Marathon, 5K, and 1.5 mile races on Saturday, September 26, 2015.åÊ These races will attract top-level competitors from around the country, who will get to see our fair city up close and personal. They will also be able to experience The 2015 Whistle Stop Festival!

The races will begin at Grants Mill Station, the 5K (map) at 7:30 AM and the half marathon (map) at 8:00 AM.åÊ The 1.5 mile fun run/walk (map) will begin at Grants Mill Animal Hospital at 10:00 AM, and all proceeds benefit Hand in Paw.åÊ The races all end in front of the Red Caboose on 1st Avenue South in historic downtown Irondale – right in the middle of the Festival!
