The Irondale Public Library  provides a world class learning experience for the greater Irondale community.  Every month the library staff under the direction of Director Del Wilson, is hard at work creating innovative activities and events to make learning fun.  Of course the library offers a vast collection of books but it also offers;  Audio books, DVD/Blu-ray, Music CDs, Magazines, eBooks, downloadable audiobooks, digital magazines and Reference Materials.

The Irondale Public Library is a member of the Public Libraries in Jefferson County which means they share resources with all 39 member public libraries in Jefferson County.  Patrons in Jefferson County need only one library card to access all of the materials and services available at public libraries in Jefferson County.
