The 25th Annual Irondale Whistlestop Festival will take place this Saturday, September 24, from 10 AM to 7 PM.  

This is Irondale’s longest running cultural festival featuring plenty of music, food, crafts and the first student art contest presented by the Irondale Arts Council.

Fireworks are also back again this year, at 9 PM!

Event organizers are accepting vendor applications, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.  In fact, they have stopped accepting food vendors already!  Better get your application in today!

Remember, the Second Annual Irondogs 1.5 mile Fun Run sponsored by Grants Mill Animal Hospital (dogs welcome!) will also take place that Saturday, beginning at Grants Mill Animal Hospital at Grants Mill Station, and ending at the red caboose in downtown Irondale.
