The Greater Irondale Chamber of Commerce and the City of Irondale will hold a ceremony this Friday, September 11 in remembrance of those who died on 9-11-2001, and in special tribute to those first responders who lost their lives running toward the danger everyone else was running away from.

The brief ceremony will be held in front of Irondale City Hall at 8:00 AM – the approximate time the planes flew into the Twin Towers.

This country and the City of Irondale are fortunate to have men and women trained and willing to serve as first responders to come to the aid of citizens when they are needed most. Join us as we take this opportunity to show our appreciation to Irondale’s first responders.
