On Sunday night, June 12 from 6:00-8:00 pm, Brookview Church will be hosting a community wide drug awareness night, specifically highlighting the heroin epidemic in Irondale and beyond.

The following professional representatives will speak on the topic: Irondale Police Department (Narcotics’ division), Irondale Fire Department paramedics, and The Foundry Rehabilitation Center from Birmingham.

There is no charge for the event, and everyone in the community is invited. Even if you do not have teens or young adult children, these representatives all agree that the general public desperately needs to be aware of this drug epidemic and how it is affecting our young people, our first responders, and our community as a whole.
