The City of Irondale is pleased to announce that Susan L. Clark will serve as the new Director of the Irondale Senior Activity Center.
Susan L. Clark is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and lives presently in Pelham AL. She was educated in Birmingham City Schools and received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
She is a member of The University of Alabama Alumni, Jefferson County Chapter executive board, serving in Student Recruitment. She also is a member of the Auburn University Friends and Family committee.
Susan has been employed by the Centers for Disease Control and most recently at Aspire Physical Recovery Center.
She has lived in Tampa, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia. She is a Member of First Baptist Church Pelham. She has taught Vacation Bible School and enjoys mission work through her church.
She has traveled to Madrid, Spain, Athens, Greece, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Cabo San Luca, Mexico and Great Yar- mouth, England. In her spare time, she loves to read journal articles and has had two articles she wrote about infectious disease trends published.
Her favorite pastime is watching football games with good friends.
