DESCRIPTION:Charades is the most wonderful interactive game on the planet! We will have participants at all levels and will have a tutorial for newbies! The Categories will be: Books\, TV\, Songs\, and Common Phrases/Sayings. What you need to do BEFORE arriving..on a little piece of paper\, i.e. an index card cut into 3 or 4 pieces\, write down 4 of each of the categories above. You will be bringing 16 pieces of paper. I will have some kind of dessert and all paper supplies. Please bring food to share if possible but absolutely no problem if you can’t. Wine/Beer available per donation. Water provided. No alcohol may be brought in to studio. \nTo help you more clearly understand; if one of the categories were ‘Colors’\, you could write – ‘yellow’ on one slip of paper; ‘mauve’ on another slip of paper and ‘green’ on another\, etc. Please get in touch if you have any questions.. DESCRIPTION:The 7th Annual BBQ for Building will take place on Saturday\, April 11\, at 11:00 AM at the Habitat ReStore in Irondale.åÊ Join Habitat for Humanity Greater Birmingham as amateur teams compete in a barbecue cook-off for the title of Grand Champion and People’s Choice! \nAttendees will have a chance to sample each team’s fares and cast their vote for the People’s Choice category.åÊ And all can enjoy live music from the Stephen McCullough Band and fun for the entire family\, with a moon bounce\, face painting\, and Home Depot Kids Workshop for the youth. \nTickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate\, and all proceeds go to fund Habitat Birmingham’s housing programs.
