BA 1972, Samford University, major in history, double minor in political science and religion. Attended accounting and financial analysis classes at Jefferson State Junior College and UAB. U S Government courses in Tax Law, Business Law, Contract Law, Lien Law, Real Estate Law, Financial Analysis, etc.
Religious:
Member of Lakeside Baptist Church for over 32 years, ordained deacon, Sunday School Teacher, drama team.
Business:
Retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 37 years, 1974-2011, owner, Sanderson & Sanderson Tax Consulting
Irondale City Council:
Second term as Councilman, Chairman Economic Development Committee, past Chairman, Finance and Police Committees, determined by the Alabama League of Municipalities to be an Advanced Certified Municipal Official, member of the Alabama League of Municipalities’ Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations (FAIR) Committee.
