Establishing New Service

NEW WATER SERVICE:

To establish New Water Service, please follow the directions below:

  1. Must fill out appropriate application. Forms must be filled out in our office.
  2. If you own the property supply a copy of your Warranty Deed. If you are renting/leasing/lease to purchase supply a signed copy of your Lease.
  3. Supply a copy of Valid Driver’s License. Driver’s License must match name on application.
  4. Deposit (Please see Water Rates).

We will need all paperwork and deposits paid before your service will be activated.

  1. Any change in the identity of the customer at the premises will require a new application for service. Irondale Water System does not transfer accounts from one customer to another.
  2. Application for transfer of service must be made in our office and a new Warranty Deed/Lease will be required. Name on transfer must match name on account. Irondale Water System does not transfer from one entity to another.
  3. A name change on an account will require a death certificate or divorce decree. This person must be the spouse of the deceased or the current Customer on the account. Irondale Water System does not transfer accounts from one customer to another. (See #5 of this section).

NEW GARBAGE SERVICE:

(For customers not on Irondale Water System)

To establish New Garbage Service, please follow the directions below:

  1. Must fill out appropriate application. You may obtain this form from our website or in our office.
  2. Supply a copy of Valid Driver’s License. Driver’s License must match name on application.
  3. Not filling out the appropriate paperwork does not eliminate you from paying for garbage service. Please see Ordinance Number 2008-46 for any questions you might have.
